The Monday pre-Craven “Country Thunder Saskatchewan” is now on.
If you come to the Craven Valley for Country Thunder remember these points: There will be heat, there could be rain. Port-A-Potties will be surrounding you. There will be people, loud parties and close talkers. The lawn chair you have may well be destroyed. You will go through bags and bags of ice, beer and toilet paper.
That’s before Friday’s headliner takes to the stage.
Personally for the Friday, I’m looking forward to meeting, seeing and listening to Ryan Hurd. Newly engaged, Hurd has a pretty hip vibe. He’s been penning songs for Tim McGraw, Blake Shelton, Dierks Bentley and Rascal Flatts. But, there are no givens when it comes to festival time, especially when you are working there. I might be just as successful seeing artists at a grocery store as seeing them on stage! There is always something going on that needs your attention. And who has more fun than people.
I’m sure there are some festival goers that never even see the main stage!
Who are you looking forward to: Meghan Patrick, LoCash, Old Dominion, Blake. Friday seems to be an incredible kick off to the weekend. Lots of great Canadian music is peppered throughout the three mainstage days.
Grab your Country Thunder passes today, don’t forget single day passes are also available. You can go on line OR pick them up at Northgate Mall. The Country Thunder Kiosk is located next to the Rider Store.
