Regina police needed a taser in making an arrest Saturday night.
Police say just before 9, they were sent to a home on the 37-hundred block of Dewdney near Evraz Place after getting a report of a domestic dispute.
Upon arriving, police found an injured woman they believed had been assaulted. A 42 year old man was said to be in the home in possession of a knife and when he was being arrested, he became resistant and assaulted two officers thus precipitating the use of the taser to bring the situation to an end.
Bradley Goodpipe is facing charges including assault with a weapon.
