Kevin Glenn put his name in the CFL record-book Saturday night in Calgary, but the Saskatchewan Roughriders quarterback walked off the field with his teammates having lost 27-10.
It was a rough night for the Roughriders as they were down 17-0 at halftime in a 30 minutes dominated by Calgary who held the Riders to under 100 yards total offence while sacking Glenn five times with Charleston Hughes getting three of them.
In the 3rd quarter, the Riders came out firing with a Glenn completion to Naaman Roosevelt making him the 7th CFL quarterback to throw for 50,000 career yards. That drive resulted in a Cameron Marshall touchdown run, but it was the only time the Riders would hit the endzone.
Calgary running back Jerome Messam had a huge night for the Stampeders as he ran for 135 yards and a touchdown.
The Riders will be back at it next Saturday afternoon at home against Toronto with kickoff going at 4:30.
