RCMP near Prince Albert received quite a few calls Sunday morning about the possibility of an impaired driver on Highway 120 north of Meath Park.
According to Smeaton RCMP, at 10:56 a.m. a white pick-up truck was observed driving erratically and passing vehicles at a high rate of speed.
A short time later Prince Albert RCMP received several reports of a vehicle matching the same description, driving in the same manner south-bound on Hwy #55 toward Prince Albert.
Members of the Prince Albert Traffic Services located and stopped the vehicle as it was driving 154 kms/hr. in the opposing lane.
The driver was arrested, brought back to the Prince Albert Detachment and provided breath samples.
A 32 year old man from Prince Albert has been charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle, driving while over .08, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and open liquor in a vehicle.
He is set to appear in Prince Albert Provincial court on September 28th, 2017.
