Those interested in seeing the train should head down to the old Mosaic Stadium parking lots along Railway Street. The train arrives around 5:00 P.M.
Live entertainment will be at 6:00 including a performance from Canadian country music star Dean Brody.
CP Spokesperson Jeremy Berry says it’s a great way to spend a summer evening .
“It’s a free show. It’s summer time,” Berry said. “It’s all about the railroad and its roots in Canada. And we also have a special car on this train called the ‘Spirit of Tomorrow’ car. Anyone can write down their vision on Canada and the future of this country.”
The Canada 150 Train began its 13 stop tour in Port Moody B.C.
It’s stop in Saskatoon Tuesday night was greeted with a downpour of rain, but hundreds of spectators still happily took in the event for Canada’s 150th.
