This one needed extra innings as the Weyburn Beavers sent the 720 Red Sox fans in attendance home disappointed when Carlos Flores singled and scored Anthony Wiggins from third to give Weyburn a 6-4 win.
With the victory the Beavers have a 2-1 lead and can end the series on Friday at Currie Field.
Both starting pitchers, Regina’s Brendan Hornung and Weyburn’s Carson Perkins left the game after throwing seven innings.
Preston Minor was tagged with the loss for Regina while Cody Pamperin earned the win with Eric Evans picking up the save.

The second baseman from the University of Rio Grande flashed the leather making some outstanding plays in the field while also banging out three hits.
Broderick Rodocker was solid at the plate for Regina, he produced two hits and two RBI in the game.
