Regina police have two women and a man in custody after members went to a home in the Uplands part of the city to investigate a theft of a vehicle and gas.
Police were called to an apartment on Alport Crescent during the noon hour yesterday after receiving a report about a stolen vehicle. It was learned the vehicle wasn’t stolen, but the licence plate on it had been.
The vehicle was linked to a gas theft at a service station Tuesday morning at a gas bar on the 200 block of Albert Street North.
A search of the apartment was done which resulted in drugs being seized along with counterfeit cash, cellphones and ammunition.
The two women–aged 22 and 23–were in court Wednesday with a 27 year old man making a court appearance on the matter next month.
