Midway through the PGA Championship, Graham DeLaet is the lone Canadian standing.
The Weyburn-born DeLaet shot 73 in the second round but remains tied in 23rd place at +1 which is good enough to make the cut.
DeLaet had a disastrous start to his round on Friday as he battled through back tightness bogeying three of his first six holes before shooting three birdies on the back nine.
“In all honesty, I had no idea where the ball was going,” DeLaet told TSN. “It was hard to get a tee shot in that fairway and when I did I kind of felt that I was sort of lucky. It was a tough day.”
The leaders after 36 holes are Kevin Kisner and Hideki Matsuyama who both sit at 8 under par.
