There are many rumours circulating as to who will be replacing Brad Wall as Saskatchewan’s next Premier.
Some early names being brought up are finance Minister Kevin Doherty, Parks Minister Ken Cheveldayoff, Health Minister Jim Reiter and Deputy Premier and Justice Minister Gord Wyant.

One person who says he will not be tossing his name into the hat is Agriculture Minister Lyle Stewart.
Stewart says the length of Wall’s run as Premier is impressive on its own.
“I think ten years is a long run for any premier,” Stewart said. “I think it makes him the second-longest running premier in Saskatchewan’s history. His family was interested in having him move along.”
Stewart claims his age is the main reason he will not be chasing the Premier’s job.
