Amanda Siebert and Alyssa Shivas dropped by the midday show recently to talk about the November Project. If your goal has been to shed a few pounds this year, either as a personal challenge or more medical reasons, this is something you may want to think about.
The November Project is happening in cities all across North America, Europe and Asia. The goal is to get people out into a public place once a week and exercise for a period of time at no cost. In Regina, organizers, which include Siebert and Shivas, hold workout sessions every Wednesday morning starting at 6:00 in front of the Legislature building in Wascana Park.
So far the Premier has not made it out, but they tell CKRM that they’ve had as many as 70 people out there. It goes, rain, snow or sunshine every Wednesday morning. They do not post what kind of workout participants will do until everyone gets to the session that morning.
