The CEO of the single Saskatchewan Health Authority will be Scott Livingstone.
Health Minister Jim Reiter along with Rural and Remote Health Minister Greg Ottenbreit made the announcement this morning.
Livingstone had been the President and CEO of the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency since April 2010 before accepting the position.
He also served as the CEO of the network now known as eHealth Saskatchewan.
The province says Livingstone will take on the role as soon as The Provincial Health Authority Act is proclaimed and the Saskatchewan Health Authority is officially established.
That date is still expected to be this fall.
Along with the naming of Livingstone as the President and CEO, Dr. Preston Smith was also appointed as a member of the board of directors.
