I walked outside and this morning and two things happened to me. First, I hit my head on the side of the door on the way out (I’m fine, just in case you were wondering) and second, the leaves on the trees are really changing colour!
At first I thought it was a side effect of hitting my head on the side of the door, but I quickly realized that autumn is almost here. Now, some get depressed by this season because they know what the next season is. I LOVE autumn for a few reasons. The temperatures are usually just perfect, the colours are so vivid especially in Saskatchewan. It’s one of the best provinces to be in during fall. The smell of fall is also one of a kind, but the best part of autumn is the fact there are no mosquitoes! You can sit on the deck or patio and not get eaten alive.
Instead of dreading the next season we need to embrace and celebrate the four seasons in our country. When one thinks of the positives of each season, it doesn’t take long to realize we live in a very special province in a very special country. So, get out there and experience the beauty that is Saskatchewan!
