When it comes to cold weather, I must admit I’m a bit of a wimp. Hey, when it comes to cool weather, I’m a bit of a wimp! The other morning I rolled out of the house and into my vehicle. At about 4 degrees, it was definitely the coolest morning we’ve had in a long time. First thing I did was turn on my seat warmer and turn my knob from cold to hot. Go ahead, say it. I’ll even join you. Lewis, you’re a wuss!
Speaking of being a wuss, Max was huddled in the far corner of the backyard yesterday as I rolled out the hose to give the flowers a good soaking. He sure isn’t a fan of that hose! I still can’t believe the number of leaves that have fallen off the trees this summer due to the lack of rain. It’s been like fall all summer in the yard. The grass is brown and I honestly can’t recall the last time I ran over it with the lawnmower. It’s been a while, that’s for sure.
This morning on my way to work I got behind that slow driver that I’ve blogged about a few times already. I just didn’t have the patience to follow him for 6 or 7 blocks, so I decided I’d take the route that takes me down Lewvan and on to Sask. Drive. I hit every red light possible and thought to myself that it might have been quicker to follow “Mr. Slow Pants” after all.
Just a few random thoughts to get this Thursday morning underway!
