An RCMP officer shot a man in a northern Saskatchewan First Nation on Sunday.
An officer responding to a firearms call in the Deschambault Lake First Nation the officer fired his weapon, injuring a man who was then taken to a local medical facility for treatment.
Police out of Saskatoon are now investigating the incident.
No other details have been made avalible.
Deschambault Lake First Nation is about 600 kilometers north of Regina.
