Two of the top five teams in Canadian university football meet in Calgary Friday night when the number 3 ranked University of Calgary Dinos take on the number 5 ranked University of Regina Rams.
Both teams won their season-opener last week with the Rams defeating UBC and Calgary knocking off Alberta.
The tw0 squads played in a pre-season game in Medicine Hat last month with Regina winning 39-3, but head coach Steve Bryce says you can throw that result out the window as both teams sat their regulars for a majority of the contest with neither team wanting to show the other the schemes they have in place both offensive and defensively.
The Rams have only started a Canada West season at 2-0 twice since joining the University ranks 18 years ago. The last time they did it was 2002.
620 CKRM will have the game starting at 5:30 with Mitchell Blair and former Rams receiver Addison Richards on the call.
