One day after sending goalie Kurtis Chapman to the Kootenay Ice, the Regina Pats have made another trade involving a goaltender.
The team has announced they have acquired Humboldt’s Jacob Wasserman from the Vancouver Giants for a 6th round pick in the 2018 Bantam Draft.
In 26 games with the Saskatoon Blazers of the SMAAAHL last year, Wasserman held a 10-13-0 record with a 3.23 goals against average and a .902 save percentage. Wassermann also impressed in the playoffs, putting up a 1.81 goals against average and 0.947 save percentage in five games.
The Pats will continue the 2017 pre-season on Friday night against the Prince Albert Raiders at 7 p.m. at the Brandt Centre
