The Province of Saskatchewan saw major growth in manufacturing sales in July.
Sales went up 13.5% in the month, the highest percentage among the Provinces.
A number of areas, including chemical manufacturing and wood products, helped Provincial sales increase.
Across the country however, sales only increased 3.4%.
Economy Minister Steven Bonk says maufactured goods made in Saskatchewan have a high-quality reputation around the world, and looks forward to helping maufacturers grow exports for many years.
Between July 2016 to June 2017, manufacturing sales increased 1.2% in Saskatchewan, up from a 2.6% decrease country-wide.
