A 71-year old Saskatoon man has died as a result of a vehicle/pedestrian collision Wednesday evening in Saskatoon.
Saskatoon Police say it happened at the intersection of 23rd Street West and Ave. T North.
According to a report, just before 5:00 p.m., a Dodge Ram truck, operated by a 47-year old Saskatoon man, was west bound on 23rd Street and approached the 4-way stop intersection with Ave. T North.
The truck had come to a stop but then proceeded and collided with the victim who was walking across 23rd Street north bound from the southeast corner of the intersection.
He was transported to the Royal University Hospital by MD Ambulance in critical condition, but died a short time later.
The investigation is continuing and there has been no decision on any charges. The identity of the victim is not being released at this time.
