Saskatchewan Polytechnic is offering a new program for students attending the Regina campus.
The Bachelor of Construction Management program will be the institutions second stand-alone degree.
It was developed in direct response to current labour demand needs.
Jamie Hilts is the Dean for the schools of mining , energy and manufacturing and natural resources and built environment. He says the program is designed as a two plus two class.
“So admission into the program would be based on students who have graduated from a program within Sask-Poly such as architecture technologies or civil-engineering technologies program, or similar programs from other institutions across the country.”
Hilts says the program will begin in the fall of 2018.
He says the program while offered around Canada is unique to Saskatchewan schools.
