It was a difficult weekend on Saskatchewan’s highways, with a pair accidents taking place.
Morse RCMP responded to a two vehicle collision on Friday night between a car and a semi truck.
The driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene, the two people in the semi were not injured in the crash.
Then early Saturday morning, Warman RCMP responded to a reoprt of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle on Highway 7.
A 37 year-old man from Saskatoon was struck by a semi truck, and was taken to hospital where he was confirmed dead.
Traffic was restricted for several hours on both highways as crews investigated and cleaned accident wreckage.
Both investigations are still ongoing.
