What a fantastic fall weekend we had capped off by a cool, refreshing rain that is certainly not unappreciated.
I took full advantage of the nice weather by going on a Sunday drive, something that I always look forward to. I found myself at both the south and east ends of the Queen City admiring the tremendous amount of work crews are doing on the new bypass and by those working hard on city streets. Some consider the construction a pain the you know what, but I look at it differently. Think back several years, back to the 1990’s. Roads were in terrible shape and one seldom saw construction anywhere. I remember people complaining about the condition of the roads back then. Now I hear complains that there’s too much construction and that it’s annoying.
