Regina Police have charged a 15-year-old boy in connection to an incident that left a Regina woman with facial injuries after being shot with a pellet gun.
On April 25, around 8:45 p.m. officers were called to the 2200 block of Broad Street for a report of a robbery involving a firearm.
A 25-year-old woman was approached by two boys who pointed what appeared to be handguns at her face and demanded her belongings.
The woman hesitated and was then shot with the pellet guns multiple times in the face, receiving injuries described as non-life threatening.
She was able to make it to a business nearby where she called 911.
The boy now faces a total of four charges, including armed robbery using a restricted firearm or prohibited weapon.
He made his first court appearance Thursday afternoon.
