Greenwater RCMP have responded to a two-vehicle collision at the junction of highways 38 and 49 just outside of Kelvington on Saturday.
First responders were also on the scene providing medical attention when RCMP arrived.
A 98 year-old female passenger of a white Ford F-150 was pronounced dead at the scene, and the 66 year-old man driving the F-150 was transported to hospital with serious injuries, where he was later pronounced dead.
After investigation, it was discovered the white Ford failed to stop at a stop sign when a semi-trailer unit collided with the truck.
The driver of the semi-truck was not injured and did not require medical attention.
Traffic was diverted for about 7 hours, and Greenwater RCMP along with Yorkton Traffic Services are still investigating.
No charges have been laid at this time.
