A new court date has been set for 2 boys who admitted to Second Degree Murder, in connection with the death of a man in Yorkton last year.
In Yorkton Provincial Court Wednesday morning, their matters were adjourned until February 21st to 23rd, for a hearing to determine if the boys should be sentenced as adults.
They were originally charged with First Degree Murder and Robbery with Violence, in the death of 67-year-old Lawrence Skoretz.
The 17-year-olds from Yorkton and from the Keeseekoose First Nation can’t be named, due to their ages.
Police believe the victim and the boys interacted at a park in the city in the early morning hours of September 13th, 2016.
