The Prairie Football Conference final will be an all-Saskatchewan affair.
The Regina Thunder went to Edmonton on Sunday and upset the Huskies 24-21 to move into the championship game next Sunday against a Hilltops team that defeated Winnipeg on home turf Sunday.
Regina quarterback Sawyer Buettner had a tough afternoon throwing four interceptions, but he threw one touchdown pass, a 75 yarder to Jh’Quin Swan while running one in as well as the Thunder held off an Edmonton team that had been undefeated until last weekend when they were beaten by Saskatoon in the last regular-season game of the year.
Eric Maximuik contributed by kicking 3 field goals including a 46 yarder.
The PFC final will go next Sunday
