Farm issues will be part of the fall session of the Saskatchewan Legislature this year.
Agriculture minister Lyle Stewart says improving rural internet and cell phone coverage are among the goals of the SaskParty government this session.
There are other items, but he’s not telling.
“We have a couple of bills, but I am not at liberty to talk about them,” Stewart told 620 CKRM’s Ag. Director, Jim Smalley. “They’ll be unrolled over the next few days and couple of weeks.”
Stewart adds the province wants to provide more support for small business as well.
