A third phase of homes has begun in the Habitat for Humanity Haultain Crossing project.
The 62 home development will officially be half-complete once the 10 unit build will complete construction in the fall of 2018.
Ramona Lerat is a future home owner through the Habitat for Humanity program, and says it will be a major milestone for her and her family.
“It’s going to be life-changing,” Lerat said. “Just to provide us with something we will someday be able to call our own. For years we have been renting. Now, down the road, our family can become more financially secure.”
Typically the Habitat for Humanity homes are 12 hundred 16 square feet with three bedrooms.
However, Lerat’s new home will be a little different, featuring wheelchair accessibility for one of her children
