More than 100 CN Rail conductors are needed in Saskatchewan, including 40 in Melville and five in Regina.
Company spokesperson Tyler Banick said the hiring blitz is a response to a ten percent growth in business across the CN network.
“We have different areas that are feeling that growth with our regular attrition, as well as our grain is up as well,” Banick said.
He said CN is expecting to hire another 2,000 workers in 2018.
