The President and C.E.O of Economic Development Regina is excited about a new business strategy.
The organization re-launched an initative called the Regina Advantage to the Chamber of Commerce at a luncheon last Monday.
A primary part of the advantage involves aggressively marketing the city’s brand and presenting fresh opportunities to potential investors.
John Lee says it’s important to begin heavily marketing Regina in order to keep pace with the rest of the country.
“Other major cities across Canada are aggressively marketing their cities as the places to invest and have your businesses,” says Lee.
“If we don’t do this, our story won’t get out.”
Lee says one big marketing tool that might be an attractant to business, which he says is an iconic, cutting edge piece of infrastructure which could boost the local entertainment sector.
