The Regina Pats were busy Tuesday visiting various places to distribute teddy bears.
On Friday night, the annual “Teddy Bear Toss” game resulted in over 2700 bears being thrown onto the ice.
Several of the Pats went to the General Hospital and Wascana Rehab Centre amongst other locations to give the stuffed animals away.
Defenceman Liam Schioler was one of the Pats who was giving away bears and says it was a great day.
“Seeing those kids receive a stuffed bear puts a smile on your face, because you know you are putting a smile on their face,” Schioler said during an appearance on 620 CKRM’s Sportscage. “It was a lot of fun to see the kids and give them a little Christmas cheer by giving them a teddy.”
