It’s the most busy time of they year for Sasktel customers and the company.
Over 700,000 calls are expected to be made and over 4,000,000 text messages sent over the Christmas break.
Company spokesperson Greg Jacobs says if you want to have a quality call, make sure to call at times of low volume.
“We see the peak traffic on our network between 10 am and 2 pm and 7pm-10pm,” he says.
“So if you could avoid those times, that would greatly increase your ability to get through without any sort of delays.”
Jacobs says Christmas Day was the 6th busiest day of the year for the province’s main telecommunications company.
