The Regina Pats made it three straight wins Monday night as they knocked off the Prince Albert Raiders 5-4 at the Brandt Centre in overtime.
Matt Bradley was the hero for Regina as the 20 year old fired one under the arm of Prince Albert goalie Curtis Meger at the 3:19 mark of overtime to give Regina its 19th win of the year and improve their record to 19-18-3 on the season.
The Pats trailed the game going into the third period by a score of 3-1, but Josh Mahura, Nick Henry and Jake Leschyshyn scored in a span of 2:38 to give Regina the lead, but Jordy Stallard got a power-play goal with seven minutes to play to tie the game setting the stage for Bradley’s heroics.
Mahura had a three point night as he returned to the team after taking a week off following his release from the Canadian World Junior team.
The Pats will welcome Brandon to the Brandt Centre Wednesday night in a 7 o’clock start.
