A Calgary man is facing 11 criminal charges including vehicle theft and flight from police after a vehicle was stolen northeast of Indian Head.
It happened on Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2018 at about 10:00 A.M.
The owner of the stolen vehicle actually followed the alleged thief and reported the location to police — who then headed to the location.
According to a news release, RCMP located the vehicle on Highway 48 near Glenavon, where it ran out of fuel.
A man was arrested and taken into custody without incident.
35-year old George Branston also faces two counts of break and enter, theft under $5000.00, dangerous driving and numerous counts of breaching court-imposed conditions.
The accused made his first court appearance in Provincial Court in Fort Quappelle.
