Five teams are still alive at the provincial women’s curling championship after round-robin play wrapped up Friday night in Melfort.
Robyn Silvernagle of North Battleford finished first at 7-1 and will play Chantelle Eberle in the 1 vs 2 game Saturday with the winner going through to the final. Eberle finished at 6-2.
Sherry Anderson of Saskatoon, Stefanie Lawton of Saskatoon and defending provincial champ Penny Barker of Moose Jaw all finished at 4-4 and when everything was calculated, Anderson finished 3rd with Lawton and Barker having to play a tiebreaker Saturday afternoon at 2 to determine who gets the 4th spot.
The 1 vs 2 game will go Saturday night with the final going Sunday.
The winner will be off to the Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Penticton, BC.
