The World Trade Center in Saskatoon has announced a partnership with a new Trade Centre in Harbin, China.
The memorandum of understanding is designed to expand industry and trade between Saskatchewan and China.
Agriculture minister Lyle Stewart says any trade expansion is welcome.
He says there may be some Chinese investment in food processing in Saskatchewan.
He says Saskatchewan has a lot of food products needed in China.
Harbin is a city of 10 million people in an agricultural province of China.
