The newest Saskatchewanderer is eager to start exploring the province.
Minister of Parks, Culture and Sport Gene Makowsky introduced 25 year old Saskatoon native Kevin Dunn as the newest explorer.
Dunn, who has a degree in human geography, says this has long been a goal of his.
“It would be the greatest opportunity to explore my home province and see the things that not a whole lot of people get a chance to see, and tell the story as well,” he says.
Dunn notes there’s a lot of Saskatchewan he’s excited to explore, but it’s the less traveled areas he’s most keen to see.
“I’ve never been to La Ronge,” he says. “Narrow Hills Provincial Park is a place I’d like to visit and see the gem lights for the first time.”
