Regina Police say a 24-year-old man is facing drug and firearm related offenses stemming from a domestic incident in front of a convenience store Thursday afternoon.
Police were dispatched to the store on the 3000 block of 13th Avenue around 3:30 p.m. after learning a man and woman were fighting in front of the business.
The man then drove away with the woman’s child.
Officers located the his vehicle in-front of an apartment building in the Cathedral area shortly after.
After searching the residence and the man’s vehicle he was arrested and charged with nine different offenses including possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a loaded or restricted firearm.
He made his first court appearance Friday morning.
