Two people are facing drug and weapons charges following afternoon SWAT call on Friday.
Regina Police said SWAT teams were called out to a property in the Lakeridge area in the city’s northwest to assist police in executing a high risk warrant on Nicurity Drive.
A search of the property also turned up drugs, weapons, unspecified amounts of cash and stolen property.
Thirty-year-old Kelly Powell, and 32-year-old Alecia Eiswerth were arrested and are facing several charges including two counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and possession of a restricted firearm with ammunition.
They made their first court appearances Monday morning.
