The Barret-Jackson car auction took place last weekend with an amazing assortment of cars and specialty vehicles rolling across the platform. You might drool or you might just go .. another car auction – whatever! Well, considering my 2008 Pontiac has been sending out signals that it might be ready for retirement, I’m keeping my eyes peeled.
A half or quarter million dollars for a vehicle that sits on a Regina street truly NOT HAPPENING! And I think you know why – it would be stolen in a heart beat! The other thing is who needs that much car unless you have an endless wealth of cash.
It is easy to get up graded when you are searching out a new vehicle, but then the price tag jets up too. What about those folks that tell you about how amazing a deal they received. What car sales person can truly give you a remarkable deal on an auto.
I’ve had great conversations with my friend Jeff about pre-owned vehicles, he works in finances! And I’ve chatted with people that run car lots too. What I need is a reliable vehicle that can go on road trips. I feel as though the Pontiac can still do that, however! Yeah, you knew there was a but coming. And that would be, the seat belt light and the dinger are now active, when in fact, the seat belt is done up! Could be that a switch is not working or something is frozen.
The gurgling is back which was fixed last fall. This is connected with my coolant system. Now, I’m only driving my car maybe 3 times a week. Walking is a great way to keep yourself active and fit but if you want your car to function at a high level, you need to drive it.
So, I guess I’ll just keep my eyes open for a great deal on something that I like .. a horse!
