A major accomplishment for an up and coming Saskatchewan country music artist.
23-year-old Tenille Arts from Weyburn will be performing a song called “Moment of Weakness” on the ABC show “The Bachelor” Monday night.
She can’t believe the opportunity that has been thrown her way. She explains how this came around.
“I had sent a song in through my management company to the show, and we found out the opportunity so we sent in a song,” Arts says. “Pretty much the next thing I knew, they loved it and we were on flights down to start filming for the show.”
Arts says she has no idea at this time as to what this could mean for her country music career.
“I honestly have no idea, I think honestly the opportunities are endless right now,” Arts says. “We’re not sure what’s going to come from it, but I’m just excited for that exposure.”
“It’s crazy because the song sounds like we wrote it specifically for the show,” Arts later added.
Arts, who is a former winner of the 620 CKRM Proudly Saskatchewan Showcase, says this certainly will be a big boost to her career and may be a moment to remember.
