If you didn’t get a chance to get a hold of any Taylor Field at Mosaic Stadium memorabilia before it was decommissioned, you have one now.
McDougall Real Estate Auctioneers is selling the old Saskatchewan Roughriders sign that used to hang above the Maxtron TV.
General Manager Dan Heslip says it’s quite the piece.
“It’s a three dimentional Riders logo backed with LED lights,” said Heslip. “The fact that it was down at Mosaic for all those years on top of the Maxtron, it’s a very unique piece. It’s not something we’re ever going to see again.”
The logo, which is measured at 17 feet wide by 10 feet high, is up for auction, with the highest bid standing at $12,600.
However, if you’re looking to avoid the risk of the price being driven up in auctions, Heslip notes there’s a more express way for you to land the logo.
“If anyone wanted to buy it right away, it’s called a buy now,” he says. “They hit that button, they pay their $25,000, they can have it today.”
Bidding on the logo ends Monday, February 5th.
