Residents and staff of Regina’s Pioneer Village have had to deal with a ‘do not consume drinking water advisory for the last number of days.
Saskatchewan’s largest seniors’complex had to turn off the taps after a mechanical failure in the hot water system last week.
Andre Kroeger, Executive Director of Facilities Management, said work will be done to prevent this from occurring again.
“We’re going to replace all the pressure valves that could be affected,” Kroeger said.
“So there’s six of them, they will all be replace either Thursday or Friday this week,” he added.
The advisory is expected to be lifted either Wednesday or Thursday.
