Milligan Biofuels in Foam Lake went into receivership late last week, eliminating a market for green, frost damaged and lower quality canola.
All inquiries are being forwarded to a Calgary law firm that is handling the receivership.
There is no official word, but there are reports the Foam Lake facility had about 25 employees.
It is not known how many producers may be left on the hook for unpaid product.
Milligan Biofuels was no longer licensed by the Canadian Grain Commission as of August 6th, 2016.
That means producers are not protected by the Canadian Grain Commission for any losses suffered.
