Regina police have made an arrest in a weapons offence which took place on February 9th.
On Friday, reports indicated a 20 year-old man was injured on his front door by an unknown person on the 1000 block of Argyle Street.
Upon investigation, it was determined the man shot himself who was not properly using a firearm, and was also prohibited from possessing any firearms or ammunition.
A female occupant of the house hid the gun, and was also in possession of a controlled substance.
18 year-old Jayleen McNab is facing three charges; possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm with ammunition, obstructing a peace officer and possession of methamphetamine.
20 year-old Cze-Sand Bannab is facing five charges, including possession of a prohibited firearm with ammunition, careless use of a firearm, possession of a restricted firearm without registration, unauthorized possession of a restricted firearm, and breach of undertaking.
Bannab made his first court appearance this morning.
