Oh well, time to buckle down and get back into the work mode.
We had a wonderful vacation. The resort was beautiful, the food was good, the drinks were cold, the weather, for the most part, was excellent, and we met some great people. What more could you ask for? The only downer was that darn cold bug followed a lot of us down to Mexico. I was under the weather for the first week and then my wife took over for the last week, and we weren’t the only ones. I had never been on a trip where so many of our travellers had come down with bad colds! Other than that, it was as close to a perfect vacation as one could hope for. However, all good things must come to an end.
When I got into the station this morning, things were as they should be. There was hot water in the coffee machine, I remembered the combination to the lock on my locker and, more importantly, I remembered all of my passwords! A great way to start my first morning after vacation. Better yet? I remembered to unplug my vehicle before coming in to work!
That was it for vacation time for me for a while. My next two week run doesn’t come up until the last week in June. Wow. A whole four months to go!
Does it make me a bad person to be already looking ahead to my next vacation when I haven’t even finished my first day back from my last one?
