The team that represented Saskatchewan at the 2018 Scotties Tournament of Hearts will not be trying again to represent the province at the 2019 event.
The Sherry Anderson team has taken to their Facebook page to say that while they achieved their goal of getting to the Scotties, they have decided to go their separate ways for next season.
Anderson says the team consisting of Kourtney Fesser, Krista Fesser and Karlee Korchinski have nothing but respect for each other and there are no hard feelings.
After winning the provincial title in Melfort, the team struggled in Pentiction finishing 11th in the 16 rink field.
Anderson is currently competing in the provincial senior women’s curling championship. She is the defending provincial and Canadian champion.
