On line banking is a wonderful thing. How do we manage without it!
Waiting for a payday, never felt so long coming as this one. Its nice that February gives us two snappy pay-periods, but this one seems to have sssstretched out! Today, the electronic pay stub is here and actual payday is tomorrow. I’m watching for what happens to the payments on my credit card. They were made days ago! But still not documented!
I am flying off to Portland, Oregon on the 9th. Credit card debt. I am getting new lenses for my specs. Credit Card debt plus waiting for Health Spending Account payment, that would expire tomorrow! Dang – its all about timing. ‘
The notations for on-line banking says it takes a few days, no kidding!
I’ve gotten pretty good at remembering all my banking numbers! And I’m sure on the other end if anyone is looking at how many times I’ve entered the site, they might wonder what’s going on.
Do you go directly to pay bills or do you go on-line!
Earlier this year I thought I had enough post dated cheques for my rent, apparently NOT. We do have that option of automatic debt, for rent, not a fan. So I thought I had enough post dated cheques through to the end of February. Apparently not true.
I had asked our building superintendent if my cheque was in the possession of the building owners. Well, no one had indicated otherwise. A few days passed, I checked my account, no movement. And our building guy said; “well, everyone has been away on holidays, I’m sure they’d let me know to ask you.” I didn’t have a cheque there! And lucky for me, the company did fine me for late charges.
Let’s just say, that rent cheque along with other post dated cheques were in their possession pretty darn quick!
I don’t know about you, but paying the bills or knowing your debt free is an amazing feeling.
And now I will incur some debt. The amount and the time frame is yet to be determined. I do however know, that its a necessity buy and I’m comfortable with that! As I go through the process, I’m slightly amused when I hear people take out a ten year loan AND this is not a home purchase. Now that’s some contract!
Bottom line, enjoy your payday! Make sure everyone is getting a little piece of it.
