The farmers market is back.
The Regina Farmers Market is back up and running on this Saturday, as the indoor season begins.
Operations Manager Holly Laird said this season looks to be a good one.
“We have all sorts of exciting stuff for the first one,” she said. “We’ve got all your favourite vendors, bakers, we’ve got some new vendors starting!”
Laird says it’s good to have the market, not just because of the good food, but because a majority of the products at the market are all locally grown.
“It is really excellent and it is really the best place to find things that are made, grown of designed in Saskatchewan,” she said. “We have a very rigorous application process. So the vendors that come there, they really do represent the best of the best.”
The market goes at 2065 Hamilton Street every Saturday morning at 9, through until April 28.
