A third person has died in relation to a Saskatoon Police investigation into overdoses last weekend.
A 25 year old woman, who was unresponsive when she was hospitalized, has passed away. The 48 year old woman who was with her when police were called to a home on the 300 block of Avenue W North Saturday night, died at the scene.
About 45 minutes before that call, police went to a home on the 3000 block of Arlington Avenue where two men, aged 27 and 31 were found to have overdosed. They were taken to hospital where one man died. Earlier that morning, two men aged 21 and 24 were taken to hospital from a home on Murphy Crescent. Police have made three arrests in the case and confiscated drugs, cash and a firearm.
