Five children and their families react after winning a trip to Disney World on Friday at Glen Elm Elementary
It’s a world of laughter, a world of fun.
It’s how many people would describe the atmosphere inside the Glen Elm Elementary School gym on Thursday afternoon.
But in just over a month, five children and their families will experience a place that’ll make the atmosphere there pale in comparison and forever associate it with it.
Five students and their families were presented with a trip to Walt Disney World through Air Canada’s Dreams Take Flight, a program offering prizes and rewards to children who are the most deserving.

Air Canada Customer Service agent Greg Guest was in attendance and says celebrating with the kids is a feeling like no other.
“It never gets old watching these kids faces light up,” said Guest. “Complete happiness, bewilderment and confusion. It’s something amazing that touches me deep down.”
“You get to watch these kids experience something they never thought they could even dream of.”
That was a sentiment also expressed by school Vice Prinipal Andrew Pelling.
“It’s just a fantastic opportunity,” said Pelling. “And these children might not have (again) to go to a place like Disney World.”
